ABOUT ME
Deimantė Karaliūtė (b. Lithuania) is a painter whose work is shaped by her studies in architecture—an education that trained her to see structure, proportion, and the tension between strict lines and open space. This way of thinking carries into each painting: compositions are positioned like plans, and color is used as a form of light.
In her work, D. Karaliūtė explores intuition, a sense of community, and, to some extent, empathy for highly sensitive individuals. For this reason, recurring motifs in her paintings include eyes, lips, hands, overlapping silhouettes, and gazes—fragments that speak of closeness and vulnerability. She has held exhibitions both in Lithuania and abroad, and her works are part of private collections across Lithuania and Europe.
